Just as I am, without one plea,
But that Thy blood was shed for me,
And that Thou bidst me come to Thee,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, and waiting not
To rid my soul of one dark blot,
To Thee whose blood can cleanse each spot,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, though tossed about
With many a conflict, many a doubt,
Fighting's and fears within, without,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, poor, wretched, blind;
Sight, riches, healing of the mind,
Yea, all I need in Thee to find,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, Thou wilt receive,
Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve;
Because Thy promise I believe,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

I have noticed that there is something "new" being circulated amongst the believers in Christ, and well... "NO need to confess our sins anymore, because we have become Righteous through Christ."

We cannot allow to ignore sin in our lives and say: "Well in God's eyes I am righteous." Don't sweep your sins under the carpet, but rather confess to God.

You will be made responsible and accountable for your actions.

Just to say: "I am sorry", is not sufficient. One has to confess, ASK for forgiveness and repent (turning away from sin), opposite of saying: "Lord, change me in this area".

God does not change us when we have sinned, or are habitually sinning. WE have to turn away from that sin. 1 John 2:6  He that saith he abideth in Him ought himself also so to walk, even as He walked.

Some who claim that they need not to confess and seek forgiveness, since they are "born again" and live in the Newness of life, don't live in the reality of what God teaches. They may not think they sin when they give a harsh reply to their child or husband, cheat in one or another way, or commit sin not noticeable to others. Man's heart is very deceitful, according to what the Bible teaches.

Never mind those who are proclaiming not to have sin, or have no need to ask forgiveness.  If this would be true according to God's word, then where are the miracles of God... where is the MANIFESTATION OF THE THE HOLY SPIRIT?

It's ALL talk and strife with the such... but WORKS are nowhere to be found nor seen! God is NOT manifested in these lives, it just can not be!

But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the POWER. For the kingdom of God is NOT in word, but in POWER.
1 Corinthians 4: 19-20

Even if one is a believer he/she still lives in a non-glorified body, which is able to sin in thoughts and deeds.  Paul even mentions something in this regard, concerning himself. Who of us here is greater than the Apostle Paul?

But for us, the follower of Christ, there is a remedy... that IF we sin... 1 John 2: 1-2... And if any man sin, WE have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And He is the propitiation for our sins: and NOT FOR OURS ONLY, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Yes, God sees us through Christ, nevertheless the believer has to STAY in Christ, walk the talk, cleansed from all our unrighteousness, and the (little) sins which may cling unto them.

Then again, No need to repeat our sins that we have confessed already, as some others do.

There are people who say that they are living "above" the need to ask forgiveness, once they have become followers of Jesus. They better check themselves out in their daily life and routine and see where they fail, or in how far they don't meet up with self-denial, pureness of heart, being an example etc. They are fooling themselves and others.

They may use certain scriptures, but overlook others... thereby misleading themselves.

By claiming who we are is Christ, we also have to live this out in every detail. Be holy for I am holy, says the Lord.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9.  This scripture is addressed to the believer in Christ.

Please, read 1 John 1-6-7.
If WE say that WE have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, We lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

If we do wrong or sin (or, so to speak minor sins) we also hurt ourselves. Practically, we need to go to our Father and "discuss" this with Him, through prayer.

How wonderful it is to see our own children coming to us and tell us what they did wrong. We in turn will GLADLY forgive them. We will be so happy in regards to their openness and willingness to share their errors with us, so we can help them and support them to do better in the future.

How the more will our heavenly Father be available when we confess our sins to Him?

Confessing our sin is like taking a wonderful shower or a dive in deep clean water. It cleanses us from within and we can rejoice  and continue our walk with God, holding His hand tightly. AMEN AND AMEN!

Remember, half a lie is a WHOLE lie, and we don't need either one!

May the word of the Lord bless you and guide you in all TRUTH, I pray.
