Greater Showers Of Increase
What incredible days we are living in! God desires that His goodness and mercies be revealed in our lives every day with His overflow blessing. It is only when His goodness is manifested in our lives, which the world will know that we serve a mighty and living God, who is good and faithful to His promises.
Ezekiel 34:26 And I will make
them and the places round about my hill a blessing;
and
I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers
of blessing.
Here God is talking about a particular group of people. These people are in a place known as (my hill) or hill of the Lord. God says this year He is going to do something great and amazing, God is going to bless both his people and the place around about the hill. The fountain of Blessing will be on His people. Not only will they be blessed, but the place where they live will also be blessed with overflow blessings. The people are in for a great shower. The place is in for great showers, not showers of natural rain but showers of blessing. Sometimes the natural rain can come with such force that it can be harmful, but the spiritual rain is glorious. What happens when the showers come down? They will drive out the curse in the area and also on the people. God will heal the land and it will be a time of revival, restoration, and transformation. 2007 is going to be the year of breaking all curses. A year of breakthrough! God wants you to know that He will restore what the enemy has robbed. He wants you to taste joy and restoration, to celebrate this in a Jubilee way. Remember what the Lord is about to restore, He is going to add blessings.
There’s going to be increase and multiplication! Listen to what God said through the prophet Joel: "So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten…"(Joel 2:25) God loves to restore what has been devoured in our lives. This is His plan and purpose. Not only does He want to accomplish personal breakthroughs in your life and bring restoration to those devastated areas, He also wants to anoint you to minister blessings to others. This year is going to be a year of seeing the power of the curse being totally broken. God wants to change the lives of these people. I've come to realize that when God restores, He brings an increase!
When God restores, He multiplies! In the process of restoration, God brings the object of restoration back in a better way than it was in its former state, and He increases and multiplies it. He always likes to add more! When God restored Job, He gave unto Job double blessings (Job 42:10). Our heavenly Father is a good God and He is the Great Restorer. Whatever our circumstances may be, we must trust that God not only wants to restore what has been robbed in our lives and in other people’s lives, but He also wants to add blessings to that which is restored. “Blessings are on the head of the righteous” (Prov. 10:6)
For some of you He is going to restore your vision and your purpose. For others, God is going to restore your marriage and family. Some of you God will restore your financial problems and your health situation. Confess with our heart, "God, I want you to restore my soul, anoint my head with fresh oil. My cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever." The anointing is going to restore your soul, your mind, your will, and your emotions. Praise the Lord!!
“Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They shall walk, O Lord, in the light of your countenance.” (Psalm 89:15)
It is the sound of breakthrough, blessings, and victory.
In the book of Acts 2:14-20, the apostles began ministering under an open heaven, and the result was salvation,
transformation, signs and wonders, miracles and healings. We are in a
time of great increase and blessings! I believe God wants to send more
increase and greater outpourings of His Spirit to bring multitudes to
salvation. Cities, nations, and communities will be changed by the power
of the Spirit.
(Proverbs 10:22) The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. We are very excited to see all that God has in store for us in this coming year. We can say with confidence that our breakthrough is on its way. Our prayer is, Come Lord Jesus; manifest your glory and your presence in our lives. The best is yet to come! Amen.
Devin was born and raised in Mauritius with no Christian background. In 1977 at the age of 18 he received Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior in a small Assemblies of God church in the Bambous village. After being born again and baptized in the Holy Spirit; he did street evangelization and loves to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the dying world. The journey from there included, roles as a youth pastor, worship leader, associate pastor, and in 1988 after 9 years of studying, he stepped out to pioneer Bambous Assembly of God as full time Pastor. He has a deep desire to reach people who don't know God, and to encourage the church to worship at a heart level, calling them to return to their first love.
God's manifested presence is a presence we can experience. It's tangible. It's something we can sense and it comes when God speaks, heals, delivers, and touches. He married his wife Simla in 1989 and together they attend church and are a vital part of God's work. She has a deep, quiet passion for God and a real love for anyone who is seriously hungry and thirsty for the Word of God. In July 1999 God opened doors for them to travel to Illinois, USA. They attended Dr. Hagin's meetings in Tulsa, visiting Oral Roberts University, the Assemblies of God Headquarters, and went to Branson Missouri attending Joyce Meyers meeting.
