January 2006 "Happy New Year", What a wonderful time to be alive in! To know that God has purposed and planned for us to be here at this time, in the Year of 2006! And in the midst of the darkness and sin all around us, we know that our light has come, and because He has come, His glory is now risen upon us. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletterjanuary2006.html
March 2006 "Making the right choices", In the book of Deuteronomy 30:15-20 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statues and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it. But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newslettermarch2006.html
April 2006 "God will make a way for you", The stage was set, Moses being guided by God was leading the children of Israel out of Egypt (bondage), and on the right side of them was a mountain, on the left side of them was another mountain, both were impassable, behind them was Pharaohs army in hot pursuit, and in front of them was the Red Sea. Seemingly there was no way out. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletterapril2006.html
May 2006 "Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord", Spring has sprung up all around us, with all of its beauty coming alive here in northeast Ohio. The flowers and trees are budding forth with new life, and we awake with the singing of the birds early in the morning. The earth is awakening from a long sleep and with it comes the excitement of longer days, and warmer weather. I hope in your corner of the world it is the same for you too. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newslettermay2006.html June 2006 "Spring Cleaning", In our every day life, we tend to hold on to many things Year after year we save, keep, and eventually we accumulate so many things that we really don't know what to do with them. Some of them are really important to us; they hold precious memories of days gone by, of parents, and grandparents, and of child hood memories. To part with them is out of the question; these we want to keep and hand down from generation to generation to be enjoyed. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletterjune2006.html
July 2006 "Sitting at the feet of Jesus", It is summer time here in North East Ohio and the weather is starting to heat up! This is the time of the year for weddings and vacations, baseball games and picnics, garage sells, swimming, fishing, graduation parties, and golf. So many things happening at this time! Summer goes by so quickly so I hope that you are able to set aside some time to enjoy it. But in the midst of everything that is going on including work and play, let us remember to set aside time to spend with the Lord. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletterjuly2006.htmlAugust 2006 "A Prayer of Moses", Moses prayer was for God to teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. As we ponder upon our own life, let us consider how short our time here really is. The Bible says our life is like a vapour that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. Let us learn to "number our days". To live our life with the understanding that we only have a certain amount of time for us to be here, and one day God will call us home. Let us spend our days wisely by applying our hearts to know wisdom. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. So let us fear God and walk in His ways for the time that remains. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletteraugust2006.html
September 2006 "Listening to the Holy Spirit", What a wonderful transformation that has taken place in our lives, that we would receive freely of Gods Spirit. From the very moment that we yielded our lives to the Lord, He quickened us and made us alive Spiritually. No longer to live as natural men and woman, but as spiritual. We are born again, born of the Spirit. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletterseptember2006.htmlOctober 2006 "Thank you for giving to the Lord", The Bible tells us to be sober and vigilant because of our adversary the devil as a roaring lion, walks about seeking whom he may devour. We know him by the thief who comes to kill, steal, and to destroy. How often has he come to you just to mess up the things that you are trying to do for the Lord? http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletteroctober2006.html November 2006 "Strong in the faith", The Bible says that Abraham staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief: but was strong in faith, giving glory to God and being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. It was after Abraham patiently endured, that he obtained the promise's of God. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletternovember2006.html December 2006 "Christmas Time", Christmas! A Wonderful time of the year. Not only for little girls and boys, but also people of all ages, and all nationalities. An account that has been recorded in the Holy Scriptures down through the years. This Word was spoken by the Prophets, revealed by the angel Gabriel, Born of a virgin, guided by a Star, and herald in by a multitude of the heavenly host worshipping and praising God. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletterdecember2006.html

January 2007 "Streams in the Desert", When my little son was about ten years of age, his grandmother promised him a stamp album for Christmas. Christmas came, but no stamp album, and no word from grandmother. The matter, however, was not mentioned; but when his playmates came to see his Christmas present, I was astonished, after he had named over this and that as gifts received, to hear him add.... http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletterjanuary2007.html
February 2007 "Trusting in the face of Storms", I have learned a long time ago that following Christ does not mean that we will never face hardships or trials. Being a Christian does not mean that God will take us around the obstacles that come up before us, but oftentimes He leads us right into the middle of them that we may learn to trust Him to bring us out. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletterfebruary2007.htmlMarch 2007 "Murmuring in their Tents", We the church, often convince ourselves to be so far removed from the children of Israel. Those ungrateful children of Israel. They had seen the mighty power of God time after time, yet each time, they would forget His power. There, as if hidden from God, they would begin to murmur. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newslettermarch2007.html April 2007 "He is able to deliver YOU", The stage was set, Moses being guided by God was leading the children of Israel out of Egypt (bondage), and on the right side of them was a mountain, on the left side of them was another mountain, both were impassable, behind them was Pharaohs army in hot pursuit, and in front of them was the Red Sea. Seemingly there was no way out. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletterapril2007.html
May 2007 "Redeemed", Much of the world today when they look upon Christ, see Him through the eyes of the Redeemer. They know His sorrows, and His sufferings, they know His death, and His sacrifice. All these certainly describe who our Redeemer is. He endured all these things in order to obtain our Redemption. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newslettermay2007.html June 2007 "He is thinking about ME", It was through love that our children were conceived, and as parents we want the very best for them. They are always on our heart and mind, and our thoughts are forever towards them. As they begin to grow we want to train them up in the way they should go. To teach them wisdom and instruction, and to give them good understanding. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletterjune2007.html
August 2007 "Develop the Word", As children of God, how important it is that we give attendance to our Heavenly Fathers words. It's not enough just to hear it preached on Sunday, or at Wednesday night Bible study, and to be absent from it the rest of the week. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletteraugust2007.html
September 2007 "Holy Spirit, flow through me", The virtue that Jesus spoke about, the anointing of the Holy Ghost that flowed out from Christ life, is increasing in the lives of Gods people all over the world today. Its virtue is flowing out not only in the lives of preachers and prophets, evangelist and ministers, teachers and pastors, but in ordinary lives of people just like you and I. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletterseptember2007.html
October 2007 "Lazarus come FORTH", By the time that Jesus came into Bethany, about two miles outside of Jerusalem, he found out that Lazarus had already been laid in the grave for four days. Many of the Jewish people gathered around Mary and Martha, the sisters of Lazarus to comfort them concerning their brother. But as soon as Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went to meet him. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletteroctober2007.html
November 2007 "Peace be still", Mark 4:36-39 And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other ships. And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletternovember2007.html
December 2007 "Testimony", One night I had worked hard to help a mother in the labor ward; but in spite of all we could do, she died, leaving us with a tiny, premature baby and a crying two-year-old daughter. We would have difficulty keeping the baby alive, as we had no incubator (we had no electricity to run an incubator) . We also had no special feeding facilities. Although we lived on the equator, nights were often chilly with treacherous drafts. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletterdecember2007.html

January 2008 "With God nothing shall be impossible", This follows the verse which tells of Mary's cousin Elizabeth being barren in her old age. Not so unlike my own mother whom after 13 years of marriage was unable to conceive. Just at the point that my parents were to begin the process of adoption, my praying great-grandmother was at our church camp having everyone agree in prayer that my mother would become pregnant. Within a month she had, and here I am fifty years later. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletterjanuary2008.html
February 2008 "Monitoring your heart", Recently Jody and I went to the Doctors office for a check-up, and the nurse took our Blood-Pressure. To our surprise, our Blood-Pressure was elevated above what it should be. So the Doctor asked us to start monitoring our hearts Blood-Pressure, every morning and evening, and record it down in a book. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletterfebruary2008.html
March 2008 "Gods G.P.S. system", The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a satellite-based navigation system made up of a network of 24 satellites placed into orbit by the U.S. Department of Defense. GPS satellites circle the earth twice a day in a very precise orbit and transmit signal information to earth. GPS receivers take this information and use triangulation to calculate the user's exact location. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newslettermarch2008.html
April 2008 "Born again", Look! And see how the Father has bestowed upon us this most precious gift, that we should be called Sons of God. It is the power of God through the name of the Lord Jesus that transforms our lives. When we come to Christ, we become a new creation. We are made anew, and all the old things pass away. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletterapril2008.html
May 2008 "Sowing seeds of Faith", How blessed we are to be able to live in an area where we can enjoy the different seasons that God has created for us. I enjoy all the different seasons. And I enjoy the changes that each season brings to us. But there's something special to me about Spring Time. I get excited about Spring Time. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newslettermay2008.html June 2008 "Walls of Jericho", We are living in times when we face battles and spiritual struggles in our lives. The Bible tells us that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletterjune2008.html
July 2008 "Have you any room for Jesus", But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, doest thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? Bid her therefore that she help me. And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletterjuly2008.html August 2008 "The anointing of HIS Spirit", Jesus spoke these words to his disciples, just before he ascended into heaven Acts 1:8, “Ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me”. On the day of Pentecost, he sent the “power” as promised. And they went forth and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletteraugust2008.html
September 2008 "The confidence of His Presence", Do we have the confidence of His presence in our daily life? Do we believe that He is here with us today in Spirit, just as must as He was with His disciples in the flesh? I think one of the reasons why it’s hard for us to believe that the Lord is with us is because we cannot see Him. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletterseptember2008.html
October 2008 "It's time to pray", If you have your ears turned toward God these days, you probably have heard Him say something to you about prayer. He’s been calling you to spend more time in prayer, and to make it a higher priority in your life. I believe He wants from us an earnest desire to seek Him, a desire so strong that we will not permit or allow anything to hinder us or distract us from getting to God. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletteroctober2008.html
November 2008 "No time to faint", Kings 19: 1-15 When Ahab told Queen Jezebel what Elijah had done, and that he had slaughtered the prophets of Baal, she sent this message to Elijah, “You killed my prophets, and now I swear by the gods that I am going to kill you by this time tomorrow night. So Elijah fled for his life; he went to Beer-sheba, a city of Judah, and left his servant there. Then he went on alone into the wilderness, traveling all day, and sat down under a juniper tree and prayed that he might die. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletternovember2008.html
December 2008 "Attending to God's Word", As children of God, how important it is for us to give attendance to our Heavenly Fathers words. January 2009 "Abrahams Sacrifice", Now I want to clarify the word tempt, doesn’t mean what we normally think of when we hear the word tempt. We know in the book of James 1:13 is says, ‘let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletterjanuary2009.html
February 2009 "Committed to Love", We have just recently turned the corner into the brand new year of 2009. I’m sure by now you have heard that old saying, ‘Out with the Old and in with the New’. The beginning of a new year for many is the time for change. People want change in their life, and their ready to wipe the slate clean and start all over. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletterfebruary2009.html
March 2009 "The Great Physicians Prescription", Down through the years I have heard a lot of discussion and a lot of controversy when it comes to the subject of healing. Medical science tells us there are many incurable diseases, such as some forms of cancer, arthritis, heart disease and AIDS just to mention a few. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newslettermarch2009.html
April 2009 "Be ready when the Bridegroom comes", St John 2:1-11 and the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: And both Jesus was called and his disciples, to the marriage. And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, they have no wine. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? Mine hour is not yet come. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletterapril2009.html
May 2009 "The Way of the Cross", Just as the Old Testament believers looked ahead to when God would send a Redeemer, we look back to that day by faith when the prophecy was fulfilled, that we may remember the Sacrifice that God made and the blood he shed for the remission of our sins. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newslettermay2009.html
June 2009 "Horticulture 101, Abiding in the Vine", He’s still workin on me, to make me what I ought to be. It took him just a week to make the moon and the stars, the Sun and the Earth and Jupiter and Mars. How loving and patient he must be, for he’s still workin on me. Now there really ought to be a sign upon my heart, don’t judge me yet there’s an unfinished part. But I’ll be perfect just according to his plan, fashioned by the masters loving hand. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletterjune2009.html
July 2009 "Keep me safe, till the storm passes by", Some times when we read the Bible, I think we read it out of duty. It’s something that we as Christians know we should do. But those times when we are reading it out of duty; we quickly skim over the words, not allowing what the Bible is saying to sink in. It takes studying the Bible, searching the scriptures, and meditating on the Word of God for us to get hold of what the Author is saying. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletterjuly2009.html August 2009 "An encounter with God", Everywhere you turn today, it seems like you hear of more and more people who are struggling in some area of their life. Whether it’s physical, financial, or spiritual, people are carrying around a heavy load, and are trying to cope with it the best that they can. All you have to do is pick up the newspaper, or turn on the television set and you can see many of those things that are going on around us…but what about those things that are going on inside of us? http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletteraugust2009.html September 2009 "Living in Canaan's Land", Did you know that God wants you to enjoy your life? Jesus said, “I come that they might have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance” (to the full, till it overflows) John 10:10. Gods will and desire for our lives is that we live and enjoy life to the fullest and in abundance. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletterseptember2009.html
October 2009 "What's in YOUR Hand", Did you know that God wants you to enjoy your life? Jesus said, “I come that they might have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance” (to the full, till it overflows) John 10:10. February 2010 "Broken Toys", What joy we had during the Christmas Season. Our family all came together; there was laughter, music, and good foods to eat. And it was all in honor of our Lords Birthday. Jesus is the reason we celebrate Christmas! But I especially loved when it came time to give our gifts to one another. There is something special about giving gifts. Jesus said that it is more blessed to give than to receive, and to watch our children and our grand-children as they opened their presents and to see the excitement upon their faces was a special treat for me.
