THE OUIJA BOARD & CULTIC THINGS

ABOMINABLE TO THE LORD

Many calls have come in to me as of late with Christians inquiring about the OUIJA Board Game, and asked if it is ok for them or anyone to play it or have it in their possession? This information is not hidden you can find it in encyclopedias and many books and my favorite is the King James Bible. The bottom line is, we as Christians have no business fooling with these things, period!

Hopefully this will explain in detail the circumstances of why we should not fool with these things. It is rebellion against God... sin in itself... and witchcraft.

"For Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft," 1 Sam. 15:23

The origin of the OUIJA board is tracked back to places all over the world. It is an instrument of divination of which is an abomination to the Lord!

A French philosophical historical sect held frequent séances. A séance is a meeting or gathering of people, holding hands in a circle chanting or calling or trying to talk to the dead. The ouija board was used to do this as well but it did not look like the boards of today. Somewhat similar but different in some ways. In earlier times it was a mystic table that was made and moved on wheels that was a connection to the unseen world.

Deut 18:10-12 Let none be found among you who sacrifices his daughter or son or makes them go through the fire or practices divination, sorcery, interprets, omens, or engages in any witchcraft, cast spells, or who is a medium and consults or talks to or with the dead.

This and any one who does these things are an abomination to the Lord. The ouija board is a doorway to the occult and more are obsessed with the unknown and supernatural powers and the spirit realm.

1Timothy 4:1 The Spirit clearly says that in latter times some will abandon the faith, and follow doctrines of demons and deceiving spirits and things taught by demons (jinn's) they are called in India, Pakistan and other places. Many who consort with the ouija board think they are getting answers back from God. Although they think they are talking with God, they are deceived and their lives become filled with great fear and turmoil. Some think that there are good spirits and bad spirits. This is not all together true. There is one good Spirit, and that is the Holy Spirit. Every evil spirit comes from the devil, and he comes to kill, steal, and to destroy.

Whenever someone plays with the ouija board or participates in a séance they are opening themselves up to the spirit world. The only answers that will come from a ouija board, fortuneteller, holy man or any other source other than the Lord Jesus Christ are evil and demonic spirits.

Saul was unfaithful and disobeyed God and sought a witch for guidance and for knowledge. He was seeking ungodly council in direct rebellion to God's orders. He did not ask and wait on the Lord to answer, lead and guide him.

1 Chronicles 10:13-14 So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the Lord, even against the word of the Lord, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to inquire of it: And he inquired not of the Lord: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.

Leviticus 20:6 An the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people. If we do this we are in rebellion to God and we are willfully engaging in witchcraft and the price for this sin is death by God.

Isaiah 47: 11-15 Therefore evil shall evil come upon thee, thou shalt not know from where it comes, or where it riseth up from and mischief shall fall upon you and thou shalt not be able to run from or get away from it. Desolation shall come upon thee suddenly which thou shalt not know. It will take you over and along with all the others who are guilty of this sin, you will stand in the multitude with them and perish in the lake of fire sayeth the Lord!

Colossians 1: 12-14 Our Father has delivered us from the kingdom of darkness and placed us into the kingdom of His dear Son. So we must not do these things.

The ouija board and games like it are very dangerous and should not be played with, evil spirits disguise themselves as your loved ones and try to trick you to think you have reached them from the other side. But what you have is an ancestral demon who knew this person and things about you and your family, so they can say things that you know to be true. But you are not speaking with God but with demonic spirits.

God can and will answer every question if you seek him for all knowledge but you will be under a curse by Him if you do not obey.

If you have any cultic things in your house get rid of them! God says to burn them. You need to repent and ask Him to forgive you and lift all curses off you, your family, and the coming generations. Ask God to cleanse you with His precious blood, and to fill you with His Holy Spirit. Pray that God would reveal to you all the things that are in your home that He wants you to get rid of, and ask Him to show you all those things that are witchcraft to Him, and He will. He will lead you and guide you into all truth.

Leviticus 19:31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God. Regard them not and do not seek after them. Read: Leviticus 20:6, 27 and Deuteronomy 18:10-11.

Remember, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour," [1Peter 5:8]. That warning from Peter is addressed to Christians, to YOU and ME!!

Today people and especially the young teens are obsessed with the supernatural. There are books and movies and the internet which are some of the most evil instruments of deception to lure our kids to satan and into witchcraft and cultic things. So monitor all that your children read and watch to protect them. This is our prayer that the windows to your soul be opened and enlightened and the enemy of your soul exposed and you repent and draw closer to God.
