"I SEE" by Delores Adams, from Michigan.  January's 2012 Hand in Hand Publication.  Ministry's Website, "There's Good News".  “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.  Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof” (Matthew 6:34) Coming from the direction of church, right on the corner where I turn right to my street, is a “psychic house.  From the looks of the inside through the picture windows, they are open for business day and night.  I often wondered if they got enough business to pay their utilities, but apparently they do or they would have had to close up shop. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/January2012.html

"The Blessings of Oils" by Jody Lewis, from Ohio.  February's 2012 Hand in Hand Publications.  Ministry's Website, "Word of Life Ministry". Did you know that there are more than 1,000 references in the Bible regarding oils and their use in maintaining wellness, for healing, for worship, for emotional cleansing, for purification from sin, and used in anointing persons for special tasks?  Besides the oils of the Bible, there are countless plants that are used in making oils.  If God created the plants in which oils are derived, why are they not a part of our lives today?  http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/February2012.html

"We have to Mend the Nets, If We Want to Catch Fish" by Delores Adams from Michigan.  January's 2011 Hand in Hand Publication.  Ministry's Website, "There's Good News."  “And when he had gone a little further thence, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the ship mending their nets” (Mark 1:19).  James and John were fishermen; it was their profession; they did it for a living.  They knew there were fish in the sea and they knew if they were to be successful, they would have to have their nets in good condition, no holes for the fish to escape back into the sea.  It took diligence to keep the nets in ready condition; ready to drop whenever they discovered a school of fish.  That was why they were in the ship, to catch fish, and they came prepared. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/January2011.html

"Holy Ghost"
by Jody Lewis from Ohio.  February's 2011 Hand in Hand Publication.  Ministry's Website, "Word of Life Ministry".  John 14: 16-17 "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another comforter that he may abide with you for ever;  Even the Spirit of truth; Whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him:  but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.  Webster's New Dictionary defines the word ghost as "a shadowy apparition."  Don't we sometimes treat the Holy Ghost as the spirit of one departed? We forget that when Jesus ascended into heaven, and he told his disciples that he would send us a comforter, that it would not be there as a figment of our imagination, but as the mighty arm of God to help us defeat those impossible situation in our lives. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/February2011.html

"A book about ME" by Rev. James A. Lewis from Ohio.  March's 2011
Hand in Hand Publication.  Ministry's Website, "Word of Life Ministries."  From time to time, I have often thought about writing a book.  I have even searched the Internet to find out what is involved in getting a book published.  Many people have written and published their own books, why not me.  For me the greatest of all Books ever published has been the volume of books written by God, and about our Lord Jesus Christ.  http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/March2011.html

"The need of Forgiveness" by Dr. Trudy Veerman from Canada.  April's 2011 Hand in Hand Publication.  Ministry's Website, "A Christian Counselor."  I have noticed that there is something "new" being circulated amongst the believers in Christ, and well... "NO need to confess our sins anymore, because we have become Righteous through Christ." We cannot allow to ignore sin in our lives and say: "Well in God's eyes I am righteous." Don't sweep your sins under the carpet, but rather confess to God.  http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/April2011.html

"The Spiritual Man" by Rev. Willy and Jeanine Christome, from the District of Moka.  May's 2011 Hand in Hand Publication.  This means that he has crucified the flesh and more than that he/she maintains it crucified.  The Lord says in Luke 9:23, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me".  This is more easily said than done.  This means to refuse to live in the present time with emotions resulting from past experiences.  So many of our dear colleagues in the work of God live in the past as far as their emotions and state of mind is concerned.

"Amazing Love", by Rev. James A. Lewis, Ohio.  June's 2011 Hand in Hand Publication. I would like to speak with you today about a subject that a lot of people struggle with, yet not too many people want to talk about it.  That is "condemnation".  When we think about condemnation, we think about those times when someone had pointed his or her finger at us, accusing us of doing wrong, or the guilt and shame we feel when we find ourselves in a place struggling with sin, or a habit that we are trying to break free of.  The Bible says in Romans 8:1, There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.  For the power of the life-giving Spirit, and this  power is mine through Christ Jesus, has freed me from the control of the principles of sin and death.

"The Greatest Gift of all" by R.J. Delio, from New Castle Pennsylvania. July's 2011 Hand in Hand Publication.  As new believers, we are taught that because Jesus Christ died for us, there is no condemnation for our sins.  Now that is not to say that we should not repent of our sins,  because we should.  But Romans Chapter 8 teaches us that Jesus Christ paid the penalty of our misdoings through His crucifixion.  Now that we belong to Him, we are freed from the sin that would have ultimately guided us to death.  http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/July2011.html

The "IF" Contingency, by Rev. James A. Lewis, Ohio.  August 2011 Hand in Hand Publications.  Ministries Website, "Word of Life Ministries."  The definition of the word IF is described as, "A possibility, condition, or stipulation."  Have you ever considered all
the "Ifs" in the Bible?  Online, it states that there are 1,282 ifs recorded in the King James Bible.  So therefore, we can conclude that Gods Word gives us many possibilities, conditions, and stipulations, which guarantees or promises (something) in an agreement likened to a contract between two parties, which can, and will occur, if we first meet the conditions of the agreement.

"Labor of Love",
Jody Lewis from Ohio September's 2011 Hand in Hand Publications.  Ministries Website, "Word of Life Ministries".  Many times when we are thanked for doing a task for someone we care about, we might in response say, "Oh it was a labour of love".  Meaning, that we did this thing in love which motivated us because we cared so much for the person or the organization for which we did this thing for.  Could we ever say that the work we do at our paying job is a labour of love?  In Colossians 3:23 it says;  And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men:  KJV.  http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/September2011.html

"What is Man",
by Dr. Trudy Veerman from Canada.  October's 2011 Hand in Hand Publications.  Ministries Website, "A Christian Counselor".  What is man, that Thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that Thou visitest him? Psalm 8:4 LORD, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account of him! Psalm 144:3

"A Fathers Love",
by Jaime Teichmer from Michigan.  November's 2011 Hand in Hand Publications. Many of you may not know, but my father, the founder of Hand in Hand Ministries, is retiring at the end of November from his job as a Sheet Metal Mechanic after 30 years of hard work. My father has shown me what it means to be a hard-working, committed employee even through the hardest of times. This doesn't even come close to the extraordinary examples of the Christ-centered husband and father that I grew up with. For the majority of my life, my father has worked for the same company despite better times or worse. He has gone into work everyday earlier than I like to wake up. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/November2011.html

"From a Shoebox to Africa, by Karen Brooks from Tennessee.  December's 2011 Hand in Hand Publication. I have always said that God can take little things and do gig things with them, but I would have never dreamed years ago when God gave me a heart for missions.  He would fulfill that calling in my life through a shoebox gift ministry called, "Operation Christmas Child".  A journey which started with a tiny ad in a local paper about filling a box of gifts for a child in a far away country with hygiene items, school supplies and small toys.  Yet that is exactly what God did.  Soon filling boxes led to letters from children in other countries that touched my heart that it inspired us to do even more boxes each year as a family.  Soon we were filling 100 or more boxes annually.  More letters came from far countries.  http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/December2011.html

"Lumpy Rug"
by Delores Adams from Michigan.  January's 2010
Hand in Hand Publication. Ministry's Website, "There's Good News". A New Year, a new beginning with expectations of achieving more, being better and reaching higher than we did the previous year.  Some of us may make resolutions that in a few weeks will be forgotten. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/January2010.html

"Broken Toys" by Rev. James Lewis from Ohio. February's 2010 Newsletter.
Ministry's Website, "Word of Life Ministry". Many of the hurts and the rejections that we feel are real. Maybe at some point in time, you too have been hurt, abandoned, or mistreated. There are people today who find themselves in the same place as the toys in this movie, feeling all alone, unwanted, undesired, and unloved.  It may be someone has toyed with your affections, used you or even abused you, and then cast you off without any regard to how you feel, or what it has done to you. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletterfebruary2010.html

"The Truth does not Divide" by Jaime Teichmer from Michigan.  March's 2010 Hand in Hand Publication. No matter what your situation in life, all of us have gone through hardships. There are times it seems like many bad things happen all at once or heartbreak lasts so long that we do not see any light at the end of the tunnel. There are hardships that affect us financially whether it is the loss of a job or unexpected expenses such as car troubles. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/March2010.html

"A Precious Offering" by Rev. John Abbey, from Killeen Texas.  April's 2010 Hand in Hand Publication. The story is told of a little boy about 10 years of age who had been placed in an orphanage when he was five or six. For some reason, every family that came by to select a child passed this little guy by and another younger or more often an infant would be chosen. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/April2010.html

"Turn it Around for Good" by Jody Lewis from Ohio.  May's 2010 Hand in Hand Publication. Ministry Website, "Word of Life Ministry". This winter in the northeast, we were overcome with a large amount of snowfall.  We haven't seen that much snow in a long time.  If it weren't for the goodness of a neighbor, we might have not been able to get out of our drive way for days.  http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/May2010.html

"Pulling Out your Potential" by Evangelist Donna Ulrich from Ohio. June's 2010 Hand in Hand Publication. Deut. 32:9-10 says, “For the Lord’s portion is his people, Jacob his allotted inheritance.  In a desert land he found him, in a barren and howling waste.  He shielded him and cared for him; he guarded him as the apple of his eye.” The Word says he found him, led him, instructed him, and kept him!!! How many of you know God is a keeper; he will keep you when you can’t keep yourself.

"Spiritual Harmony"
by Rev. Willy and Jeanine Christome, from the District of Moka.  July's 2010 Hand in Hand Publication. Harmony means agreement of feelings, ideas or action; getting along well together. We even speak of perfect harmony. It is also a musical term to explain the sounding together of two or more musical tones in a chord. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/July2010.html

"Jesus the Great Revolutionary" by Pastor Devin and Simla Rajiah, MauritiusAugust 2010 Ministry Website, "The Bambous Assembly of God". In the history of humanity many revolutions has taken place.  Many have shaken and marked history.  We have the American, communist and the French revolution.  Revolution means war, change, blood flow, overthrow, and change of a Government.  It is not peaceful, quite, and painless.  Jesus Christ is not only the Savior, the Messiah, the Prophet, the Priest, and the King.  He is also the Revolutionary and the Liberator. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/August2010.html

"The Greatest? Be Servant of all" by Dr. Trudy Veerman, from Canada.  September's 2010 Hand in Hand Publication.  Ministries Website, "A Christian Counselor". It should be a privilege for us to serve others. Jesus says to His disciples: "If you desire to be the greatest in the Kingdom of God, be servant of all."  Many take this wrongly and think they should be served by all. The ego pops up and wants to be satisfied. Glamour lurks around the corner to entice the servant of God.
http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/September2010.html

"The Parable of an Investor" by Rev. James A. Lewis, from Ohio   October's 2010 Hand in Hand Publication.  Ministries Website, "Word of Life Ministries.  A certain businessman desired to invest his monies and his time into something that would yield a great return, so he made an appointment with an Investing Firm and set out to meet with someone at the appointed time.  http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/newsletteroctober2010.html

"I Have promised and I will fulfill" by Dr. Trudy Veerman, from Canada.  November's 2010 Hand in Hand Publication.  A Prophetic Message by Dr. Trudy.  Ministries Website, "A Christian Counselor."  God will send a great delusion.  The Anti-Christ will come from amongst you, they that pretended to be of Christ, but are liars.  The sheep will be separated from the goats, and turmoil will be the order of the day.  The time is come and very close, that what has been foretold will be fulfilled. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/November2010.html

"Nine Thousand Views"  by Tony Dolan from Ohio. December's 2010 Hand in Hand Publication. As we embark on this coming holiday season, and people are no doubt getting their traveling plans together, or determining what it is “Santa” may bring.  If I may, I would like to ask all who read this, to somehow try and refocus on what it is that one book says that so many bring to their house of worship on Sunday morning, noon, or night.  Over the passage of time, one simple message of peace and humility has been twisted to justify our own “Earthly” focus.  Far too many times we all have had someone tell us to “Do” or “Not Do” something based on what the scriptures say.

"Hope in troubled time" by Karen Brooks from Tennessee. January 2009 Ministry's Website, "Love Notes from Heaven". In our Nation and across the world today people are facing troubled times. Many things are changing in people's lives. For some it may be their health, for others it may be a job loss or career change.  http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/January2009.html

"What is to come" by Dr. Trudy Veerman from Canada.  February 2009 Ministry's Website, "A Christian Counselor". It was some time ago, while I was working at my computer, when I experienced something unusual. A scripture window popped up on my monitor screen, from one of my Bible programs, although I didn't call for it, neither did I type the Bible book or the Verse to make this happen. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/February2009.html

"The Language of God" by Pastor Willy J Christome, District of Moka Mauritius.  March 2009 Ministry's Website, "Saint Pierre Assembly of God". God has a language of His own. He always used the same kind of language and never diverts from it. I have been greatly blessed personally when the Holy-Spirit showed me this great truth. Have you paid enough attention to the language and vocabulary God uses? http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/March2009.html

"God is in the valley" by Evangelist Donna Ulrich, from Florida.  April 2009 Ministry Psalms 23:1-5 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/April2009.html

"The Way of the Cross" by Rev. James A. Lewis from Ohio.  May's 2009 Ministry's Website, "Word of Life Ministries".  The Old Testament followers looked ahead by faith, to a day when God himself would provide a sacrifice, and whose blood would make atonement for the sins of the world.  Abraham spoke of that day, King David wrote about it, and the prophet Isaiah prophesied saying , “He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the punishment of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed”. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/May2009.html

"Personal Testimony" by Betty Kalbes from Ohio.  June's 2009 Ministry's Website, "The Way Out Ministries". 29 years ago I asked my daughter a question that would affect our lives and relationship for years to come.  My question was Debbie are you gay?  And her answer was yes, do you hate me?  I told her she was my daughter and I loved her but I hated the life she was choosing to live.  I felt like my heart had been ripped out of my body.  http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/June2009.html

"The Praying Church" by Pastor Devin and Simla Rajia from the island of Mauritius.  August 2009 Ministry Website, "The Bambous Assembly of God".  Prayer is our mandate from heaven. Prayer is one of the most valuable assets we have as His church. God allows us to partner with him to fulfill his plans, purposes and pursuits on earth. It is the means by which we open our hearts to God, so He can speaks to us. Prayer keeps our hearts soft toward Him and is the foundation of our Christian walk. Prayer keeps us from sin and also to sin. Prayer is entering into the Most Holy Place, into the very presence of God. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/August2009.html

"Don't Cry Uncle", by Jody Lewis from Ohio.  September's 2009 Ministry Website, "Word of Life Ministry".  When you were a kid, did you ever have someone twist your arm to your back and continue to contort your body, egging you on to cry uncle when you’ve had enough? Doesn’t that remind you of what Satan does to us? Being the bully he is, he torments us in our thoughts with worry, burdens and heartache. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/September2009.html

"Temptation", by Dr. Trudy Veerman from Canada.  October's 2009 Ministry Website, "A Christian Counselor."  Temptation is something which will try to lure the follower of Christ into sin.  BUT... we can react by not allowing temptation and sin to whip us around. I would like to add some words of prevention and help. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/October2009.html

"Salt of the Earth", by Delores Adams from Michigan.  November's 2009 Ministry's Website, "There's Good News". Some sources say that salt has more than 14,000 uses and Americans use more than 400 pounds each per year!  Included in these uses are:  water conditioning, highway salt, agriculture salt, food grade salt and chemical salt.  All humans and animals require both sodium and chloride for life and health. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/November2009.html

"Holy Spirit Flow Through Me", by Rev. James A. Lewis from Ohio.  January 2008 Ministry's Website, "Word of Life Ministries."  And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh:  and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy.  http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/January2008.html

"Umbrella or Gods Armour, what do you have?", by Pastors Roger and Dianne Wilson from Mississippi.  February's 2008 Ministry's Website, "Broken Rose Ministries."  Years ago, someone contacted me distraught and worried about a member of their family. She asked me to pray for them so I did immediately. It was late at night so after praying I went to bed.  http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/February2008.html

"Remember Me", by Karen Brooks from Tennessee.  March's 2008 Ministry's Website, "Love Notes from Heaven".  It was the end of the road for this thief, or so he thought. He was guilty. He was condemned to die. His life here would soon be over. He had no hope. Then he saw another prisoner that he recognized. What is he doing here in this prison with me? He doesn't belong here, he may have thought. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/March2008.html

"Victorious Christian Living, Are you Ready", by Ben and Anna Soon from Malaysia.  April's 2008 Ministry's Website, "Yielded to Christ Mission Ministry".  When you received Jesus as Saviour into your life, you are not only transformed, you are translated from the kingdom of darkness into the glorious Kingdom of God. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/April2008.html

"Spiritual Authority", by Pastor Willy and Jeanine Christome from the District of Moka.  May's 2008 Ministry's Website, "Saint Pierre Assembly of God". Spiritual authority is essential if one wants to effectively fulfill his ministry. The source of spiritual authority is the HOLY-SPIRIT. He alone can authenticate our ministry. It’s the manifest presence of God moving with his servant and confirming His word as he fulfills his ministry. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/May2008.html

"Thank God for Lice", by Delores Adams from Michigan.  June's 2008 Ministry's Website, "There's Good News".  The Dutch, Ten Boom family had been arrested by the Nazis for harboring Jews, providing them with safety until they could escape.  Corrie tells the story in her book The Hiding Place.  Conditions were atrocious in the prison, and many died even before they could be taken to the incendiaries.  Corrie complained to her sister, Betsy, (who died while they were in Ravensbuck Nazi prison) that she couldn’t tolerate the lice, filthy blankets and mattresses.  Betsy reminded her that their father had taught them to be thankful for everything, even lice. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/June2008.html

"The Mighty name of Jesus", by Pastor Devin and Simla Rajiah from Mauritius.  July's 2008 Ministry's Website, "Bambous Assembly of God Church".  The Name of Jesus is the greatest weapon and greatest asset for a believer can possess. What a privilege and a blessing!! It is the only name which is above all other names. The name of Jesus surpasses every thing. We have many great names in this world but Jesus is a Superior and excellent name. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/July2008.html

"Do you really know who your enemy is", by Pastors Roger and Dianne Wilson from Mississippi.  August 2008 Ministry's Website, "Broken Rose Ministries".  Have you ever been in a situation where someone attacked you verbally or physically and you did not know the reason why? Was it in a doctor's office, grocery store, or on the phone?  Maybe it was at home by your wife or husband, a child or close friend or even a church member.  Maybe it was from your boss or coworker, maybe even your pastor. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/August2008.html

"Alone with God", by Jody Lewis from Ohio.  Septembers 2008 Ministry's Website, "Word of Life Ministry".  Jesus being our example, found it necessary to get alone with His Father.  People were around Him constantly.  Whether it be with His disciples, or those in need, He was there to minister to them.  His daily walk was His ministry.  Just as Jesus found the need to escape to that quiet place to reconnect with God, we must make this a part of our daily walk. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/September2008.html

"Faith to move mountains", by Dr. Trudy Veerman from Canada.  October's 2008 Ministry's Website, "A Christian Counselor".  Without faith Jesus couldn't perform any miracle, according to God's word.  This shows how important it is for us to have faith if we need something from God.  Faith comes by hearing of the Word.  So, start digging in and meditating upon God's word to enlarge your faith.  Our whole life can be surrounded by faith, if we surely know God. And to know Him is through His word and confirmation by the Holy Ghost http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/October2008.html

"Too Blessed to be stressed", by Pastor James Beach from Columbiana.  Novembers 2008 Ministry, "First Baptist Church East Liverpool Ohio". That’s the reality of living in God’s UPSIDE-DOWN world, from feeling Blessed to finding ourselves Stressed, but then I am reminded between five and six hundred thousand people are considered "homeless" at any given time - without a permanent, safe, decent, affordable place to live. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/November2008.html

"Emmanuel", by Rev. James A. Lewis from Ohio.  December's 2008 Ministry Website, "Word of Life Ministry". What an awesome account in the Bible that narrates so beautifully the story of Gods love for us. Prophesied by the Prophets, proclaimed by angels, and testified by men. God so loved us that He gave us His Son to be the Saviour of the World.  http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/December2008.html

"Encounter with God", by Rev. James A. Lewis from Ohio.  January's 2007 Ministry Website, "Word of Life Ministry". This story tells of an encounter Jacob had with God one night while he was all alone.  God loved Jacob, but he saw the inward struggle that had went on in his life for quite some time now, and He wanted to do something about it.  When God looks at us, He looks on the inward part of us, He looks at our heart.  http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/January2007.html

"Greater showers of Increase", by Pastor Devin and Simla Rajiah from Mauritius.  February's 2007 Ministry's Website, "Bambous Assembly of God Church".  What incredible days we are living in!  God desires that His goodness and mercies be revealed in our lives every day with His overflow blessing. It is only when His goodness is manifested in our lives, which the world will know that we serve a mighty and living God, who is good and faithful to His promises. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/February2007.html

"More than Conquerors", by Pastor Willy and Jeanine Christome from the District of Moka.  March's 2007 Ministry's Website, "Saint Pierre Assembly of God".  Our God  is a winner. This is exemplified by the victorious life of the Lord Jesus-Christ who by his powerful ministry, atoning death and glorious resurrection completely defeated Satan, sin, the world and death. In John 16:33 Jesus says: “Take heart I have overcome the world.”  The Lord has called us to live a victorious life.  The Holy-Spirit our counselor and comforter has been sent to be with us and abide in us for ever.  http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/March2007.html

"Are you robbing God", by Pastors Roger and Dianne Wilson from Mississippi.  April's 2007 Ministry's Website, "Broken Rose Ministries". Isaiah 53: 3-5 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and we hid as it were our faces from Him; He was despised, and we esteemed Him not. Surely He hath borne our grief, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted.  But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; with His stripes we are healed.  http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/April2007.html

"Jesus was moved by faith", by Deborah Potgieter from Germany. May's 2007 Ministry's Website, "Bethesda House of Grace". Jesus came to earth for a specific reason. He came as a Jew through God's people the Jewish nation. In Matthew 15:24-28 we see the encounter between Jesus and a woman of Canaan. She came and asked Jesus for the healing of her daughter. Jesus' answer to her request was: "I was not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel". In verse 25 we see that she "worshipped" Jesus. Jesus again answered "It is not good to take the children's bread and cast it to dogs".  http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/May2007.html

"Pleasing God", by Grandma Jan from Sacramento California.  June's 2007 Ministry's Website, "Grandma Jan's Words of Wisdom". Every human activity except sin, can be done for God's pleasure if you do it with an attitude of gratitude.  You can wash dishes, service a machine, sell a car, write a computer program, grow a crop, or raise a family for the glory of God.  Like a proud parent, God enjoys watching us use the talents and abilities He has given to us. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/June2007.html

"Are you a Patriot", by Jody Lewis from Ohio.  July's 2007 Ministry's Website, "Word of Life Ministry". Webster describes a patriot as “one who loves his country”, or “one who is devoted to the welfare of his country”. My Grand-mother instilled within me a sense of patriotism from a very young age. She knew the hardships her parents faced and relinquished to have a better life in this country. She never turned back on who she was, but embraced who she had become.  http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/July2007.html

"Submissive to my Fathers Will", by Rev. James Lewis from Ohio.  August 2007 Ministry Website, "Word of Life Ministry".  Being submissive to our Heavenly Fathers will does not always come easy. Especially when it's something we do not want to do. How often do we tighten our fingers in a "knuckle-whitening" grip, and dig our heels and refuse to do, or to go where our Father is asking us to go?  There are times that we know where God is leading, and what He is asking of us, and yet because we are fearful, we refuse to submit. We tell ourselves that it's okay just to stay in this place and we make every excuse not to obey. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/August2007.html

"A Sitting Donkey cannot be Led", by Pastors Roger and Dianne Wilson from Mississippi.  September's 2007 Ministry's Website, "Broken Rose Ministries". Hebrews:10-38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back my soul shall have no pleasure in him.  http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/September2007.html

"Dialogue with God" hearing His voice, and letting your voice be heard", by Dr. Trudy Veerman from Canada.  October's 2007 Ministry's Website, "A Christian Counselor". Not every believer in Christ has the same experience in hearing from the Lord. In general, an individual is so much connected with and depending on one's senses (hearing, sight, smell, touch and taste) for detection, transduction and transmission of information, that it is difficult to understand that God is not limited to our senses to convey messages to His children.  Although there are many scriptures related to this subject only the most familiar ones have been used. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/October2007.html

"Risen and returning for you", by Ben and Anna Soon from Malaysia.  November's 2007 Ministry's Website, "Yielded to Christ Mission Ministry".  When you received Jesus as Savior into your life, you are not only transformed, you are translated from the kingdom of darkness into the glorious Kingdom of God. You become a born-again Christian by the power of the Holy Spirit into the family of God. And because you now belong to Jesus, you are a joint heir with Him. You are made a royal subject and you are rich in God.  You will one day reign with Jesus! What a tremendous blessing!  http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/November2007.html

"Emmanuel, God with us", by Karen Brooks from Tennessee.  December's 2007 Ministry's Website, "Love Notes from Heaven".  His birth was foretold for centuries and here announced by an Angel of the Lord.  A precious promise about to be fulfilled and the greatest gift to man about to be sent by the Father. The depths of this gift is hard for mankind to fully comprehend and so many times at this season too many of us get lost in the commercialized version of the Holiday. http://www.wordoflifeministry.us/December2007.html
