| EXODUS 14: 14-16 The
Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. And the Lord
said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the
children of Israel, that they go forward: But lift thou up thy rod,
and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the
children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea. |

| The stage was set, Moses being guided by God was leading the children of Israel
out of Egypt (bondage), and on the right side of them was a mountain, on the
left side of them was another mountain, both were impassable, behind them was
Pharaohs army in hot pursuit, and in front of them was the Red Sea.
Seemingly there was no way out. |
|
Have you ever come to the place in your life where you felt your very existence
was in jeopardy? The road before you seemed blocked and barricaded where you
cannot move ahead, and behind you are all the pressures, the fears, and the
weights bearing down upon you. You've looked to the right and to the left
and find no way of recourse. The mountains before you are too big to begin
to tunnel through and the waters are too deep to cross over. This is
exactly how the children of Israel felt that day so long ago. |
|
Oh we are living in modern times and many things have changed from the Bible
days so long ago. Yet there is one who is the same and does not change.
Our God. And His Word speaks strength to our heart saying, "Be
strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the
Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor
forsake thee". |
|
It may be that today you find yourselves in a very similar situation just like
this. There is such a need in your life yet you cannot find a way through
it. It may seem that there are barricades before you, road blocks that are
hindering you from passing through in safety to the other side. One thing
to remember is this, we are not alone! Our trust is not in man, nor in our
own strength. Our trust is not in our monies, nor our jobs. Our
trust is in the Lord! |
|
It may very well be that God is setting the stage to bring you out of
bondage, and has led you to this place, that your trust would be in God and
in God alone to bring you out. It is not a time to fear. For
fear immobilizes us to give up and to quit. But God is saying to go
forward! We do not retreat, we do not give up, we do not sit down as
ones who are defeated, but we lift up our rod (The Word of God) and divide
those waters that are before us and go forward. Praise His most Holy
name! |
|
Can you imagine that triumphal march through the midst of those waters?
Walls of water heaped up on both sides of them. The very thing that forbid
them progress now opened up before them as they marched through on dry ground!
The excitement and wonder knowing God only could have done this. Dare
to trust Him in your hour of need. For those very things that forbid
your progress will open up before you at the blast of Gods breath and divide
those uncrossable waters that you may journey on with Him. |

| I would like to take this opportunity to welcome back, as this
months Guest Writer to Hand in Hand Publications, Pastors Roger and Dianne
Wilson. God has planted them in the Mississippi area and we are blessed to
have them join their ministry, "Broken Rose Ministries", with us
this month. Roger and Dianne are ministers with the heart and compassion

spreading the love of Jesus to all who would come to them. |
| This month Pastor Dianne shares with us her testimony of the
things that God has done in her life, and the message of the work that Christ
did for each one of us, when He went to the cross, suffered, died and rose
again. Its a wonderful and personal message that speaks to the hurting and the lost and I
would love to invite you to visit her page this month an allow her to share her
heart with you, and to minister the Word of God to your needs. |
