"Hand In Hand Proclaiming the Good News of the Gospel to the entire world"

        Greetings to all our Family, Friends, and Christian Internet Ministries all around the world:

Isaiah 60:1-2 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.  For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people:  but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

What a wonderful time to be alive in! To know that God has purposed and planned for us to be here at this time, in the Year of 2006! And in the midst of the darkness and sin all around us, we know that our light has come, and because He has come, His glory is now risen upon us.

Remember the words that Jesus read from the book of the prophet Esaias saying, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor: he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord."

The Spirit of the Lord which was upon Jesus and anointed Him to do the works of God has been given to each one of us today through the power of the Holy Ghost. Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you, and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost parts of the earth.

It has been appointed for us to be here in this day and hour, and by the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit as "Sons of God", we have been anointed to do the works of Him who lives within us! We have a work to do an assignment from God and have been strategically placed in the world at this time to do the will of Him who hath sent us.

1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: We should stop just about right here and shout. Glory to His Holy Name!

The Bible says in 1John 3:2, Beloved, now are you the sons of God.  Not when we get to heaven, but NOW! What a wonderful privilege it is to be the Sons of God. Just as Christ is the Son of God, so are we who have been born again. Born of the Spirit into Gods family. Heirs of God and joint heirs with Jesus Christ our Lord.

When Jesus came into his own country, the people were astonished at the works that He did. Matthew 13:55-56 They said among themselves, "Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary: and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? And his sisters are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things? Christ knew who His earthly father and mother was, yet He also knew who His Heavenly Father was by the Spirit that dwelt within Him.

Today let us have this same mind that was in Jesus Christ, and to know whose Spirit dwells within us. When they look upon us, they will see Jesus, and when they see Christ they will see God.  There is a place where you know that the Spirit of the Lord is upon you, and hath anointed you to do the works of Christ. Many will see the manifestations of the Power of God flowing in your life, and will believe on the name of the Lord.

Gods Divinity bursting through our humanity!  Oh what a wonderful revelation of Gods Spirit living within our lives today. Given freely to all who would believe.

John 14: 8-9 Philip saith unto him, Lord shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

Philippians 2:5-7 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

I wanted to say that because of sickness (flu) in our household in the month of December, that I have turned my Newsletter into January's Publication of Hand In Hand Ministry, entitled "Rise and Shine for such a time as this."  What a wonderful message the Lord has laid upon my heart for this month, exhorting each one of us to Arise and Shine, for the Glory of the Lord is risen upon us.  As part of Gods Family, He has sent us into this world for such a time as this New Year of 2006. How blessed we were last month to receive in our email all of your Christmas cards and  your messages on the birth of our Savour. To see so many write and minister the message of Christ birth and what it means to you, is a clear witness of the Christ who lives in you.

So many of you who are Contributing Members with Hand In Hand Ministries, have written in asking for special prayer. I know some of the needs and how heavy the burdens are to carry, I wanted to request at this time if we (each one of us) would remember one another in our prayers. The Bible says the effectual reverent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. The names are listed below for you to mention. What a comfort to know that there are people who care enough to take the time to pray one for another.

Also please remember to pray for those who have been called to the mission fields. Many are being persecuted, and their lives threatened for preaching the Gospel. Many churches and homes have been burnt to the ground. Pastor Moon Seong Jeun from North Korea who is still facing the risk of the death penalty for preaching the Gospel. Please pray that the Lord will watch over them and protect them from all harm.  The message of the Gospel is going out into all the world for a witness of Jesus Christ!
