Psalm 139 1-18
O LORD, you have examined my heart and know
everything about me. You know when I sit or stand. When far
away you know my every thought. You chart the path ahead of me, and
tell me where to stop and rest. Every moment, you know where I am.
You know what I am going to say before I even say it. You both
precede and follow me, and place your hand of blessing on my head.

This is too glorious, too wonderful to believe!
I can never be lost to your Spirit! I can never get away from my
God! If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the
place of the dead, you are there. If I ride the morning winds to the
farthest oceans, even there your hand will guide me, your strength will
support me.
If I try to hide in the
darkness, the night becomes light around me. For even darkness
cannot hide from God; to you the night shines as bright as day.
Darkness and light are both alike to you.
You made all the delicate,
inner parts of my body, and knit them together in my mother's womb.
Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! It is amazing to
think about. Your workmanship is marvelous---and how well I know it.
You were there while I was being formed in utter seclusion! You saw
me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to
breathe. Every day was recorded in your Book!
How precious it is, Lord, to
realize that you are thinking about me constantly! I can't even
count how many times a day your thoughts turn towards me. And when I
waken in the morning, you are still thinking of me!

Scripture reference: Psalm 40:5
Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which
thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot
be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of
them, they are more than can be numbered
Hand in Hand Publications June 2007
I would like to welcome to Hand in
Hand Publications for the very first time, this months guest writer, Sister
Janice Adams from Sacramento California. Her email Ministry is also
known as "Grandma Jan's words of wisdom. We are pleased to present to you
her first message here at Word of Life called, "Pleasing
God".
This is a wonderful message that speaks of the
importance of being obedient to Gods Holy Word. Sister Jan takes this word from the
story of Noah in the Old Testament and applies it to our lives today. She
has a wonderful way of portraying what the Bible says to us through the Gift of
Wisdom that God has given to her. We are so pleased to have her this month
as our guest writer and it has been a pleasure to work with her in the Gospel,
via the Internet.
Here is an excerpt from Sister Jan's message this
month...Every human activity except sin, can be done
for God's pleasure if you do it with an attitude of gratitude. You
can wash dishes, service a machine, sell a car, write a computer
program, grow a crop, or raise a family for the glory of God.
Like a proud parent, God enjoys watching us use the talents and
abilities He has given to us.
You can view Sister Jan's page
by clicking on the
Hand in Hand Publication link or her
Ministry Banner below. I hope you take the time to stop by for a visit.
From there you can email her and drop her a line. I know she would
love to hear from you!
