Greetings to all our family, friends, and Internet Ministries around the world.

I pray this newsletter finds you in good health, and in the joy of the Lord.  What a great privilege we have to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with you, and for this I am grateful.

Spring has sprung up all around us, with all of its beauty coming alive here in northeast Ohio.  The flowers and trees are budding forth with new life, and we awake with the singing of the birds early in the morning.  The earth is awakening from a long sleep and with it comes the excitement of longer days, and warmer weather.  I hope in your corner of the world it is the same for you too.

   Isaiah 51:9-11 Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the Lord: awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old.  Art thou not it that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon? Art thou not it which hath dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; that hath made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over?  Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head:  they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

How many times has the devil come to us, trying to discourage us in the things that we are believing in and trusting the Lord for?  What good is it for you to encourage yourself in the Word, knowing that nothing is going to change or come out of it, he would say.  But we know that without faith, it is impossible to please God.  We walk by faith, according to the Word of God, and not by the things that we see happening around us. The devil would want us to take our eyes off of the Lord and His Word (truth), and to put them on the circumstances around us, just to tear down our faith.  Remember Peter who stepped out of the boat and began to walk on the water, but when he focused on all the wind and the waves around him, he began to sink.

Has the enemy of our soul tried to discourage you and bring fear where your faith once stood?  Has he spoken to your mind saying things like, "What's the use in believing God for all my needs when he doesn't even hear me".  Has he tried to tell you that you are going to loose it all, and that there is no way out of this?  He will try to infiltrate your home, your marriage, your monies, your health, any area where we are trusting and believing the Lord according to His Promises.

The devil is a liar, and the author of all lies, but we shall know the truth and the truth shall make us free!  The Bible tells us that in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

1John 5: 4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world:  and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

The Word of the Lord would say unto you today, to hold fast to your profession of faith.  For change is coming. He is making a way for you where there has been no way.  Just like the days of old, the Lord is stirring Himself up, and putting on strength to move in your behalf.  That which the Lord has spoken to you is coming to pass and great shall be the joy of it. We don't know how He is going to do it, and we don't know when, but He is going to do it.  For the Lord has seen the heavy burdens and the heavy weights that you have bore up under and have carried for so long now, and in one day that heavy weight will be lifted and gone!  And you shall return and come again with gladness and singing.  Sorrow and mourning shall flee away!

Just like the Lord who made a path in the Red Sea for the children of Israel to cross over, so will He make a way for you!  Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord. Manifestations like these will we see in our lives because our trust is in the Lord!

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome Cornelia Potgieter of "Bethesda House of Grace", as this month's guest writer for Hand In Hand Ministries.  Her message this month entitled, "Amalek" is filled with important teachings that comes right out of the Old Testament, and is prevalent for us in 2006.

I love how the Scriptures of the Old Testament are filled with messages that speak directly for us today, that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. Cornelia brings out in such a wonderful revelation by the Scriptures, how the enemy waits for us to come to a place of weakness in our life called "Rephidim".  A dry and thirsty place where there is discouragements on every hand. From time to time I like to introduce you to some of our new members and to let you hear a little bit about them.  Where they are from, who they are, etc.  So at this time I would like to introduce and welcome to Hand In Hand Ministries, Sister Janice Adams (Grandma Jan), from Sacramento California.  Janice has a wonderful email ministry called "Grandma Jans Words of Wisdom".  I hope you will take a moment and email Grandma Jan and introduce yourself to her, I know she would love to make your acquaintance.

So I've heard I've now gotten the reputation of being called lovingly, Grandma Jan from sunny California. Well the weather here lately has been a representation of my early life, dark, cold, and lonely. Please let me explain. I was raised in a very large, very poor family; my parent's were very backward in their thinking on how to show love, there just wasn't any. We were harshly reprimanded if we showed any kind of emotion at all. So when I grew into a young adult the first thing I did was to go out and try to find the love I so desperately needed, the problem was I looked in all the wrong places. But luckily I found JESUS just in time. Just in time to carry me through the death of two of my children. If there is one thing that I have learned since becoming a Christian that is, if GOD brings you to it, he can bring you through it!

I have found that being a blood born child of the living GOD entitles me to full access to all GOD has to offer, all his promises that we read about in His holy book. My life now is fully dedicated to doing His work, what ever He asks of me to do, and it seems He likes some of the pages that I write and send in to Word of Life Ministries. So if you-all will allow me to do so I guess you will be seeing some of my work now and then. All glory to GOD.  I am a disabled senior who is into saving stray and abandon animals, gardening and crocheting, gospel music and by far my most favorite pass time is telling others about JESUS. May the Angels place a whispered kiss upon your lips and dance lightly through your dreams tonight.

I want to take this time to thank Sister Karen Brooks from "Love Notes from Heaven", for Aprils Publication to Hand In Hand Ministries.  What a truly inspiring message, "Remember His Word", filled with the hope and assurance that we have in Christ Jesus, the risen Savour.  My heartfelt thanks Sister Karen, for sharing with us the message on the Resurrection. I pray this message will echo loud and clear into the hearts and lives of people everywhere proclaiming the words of Jesus Christ saying, "I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."  The Brooks have become dear friends of ours through sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ over the Internet and we are privileged to have been able to share with you part of their ministry and witness for Christ.

Jody and I want to make mention and to say thanks to my mother, Marcella Lewis for her love gift of monies to help pay for the paper, ink, and stamps that are needed to mail out our monthly newsletter, and I would also like to say thanks to each one of you, our partners for your contribution to Hand In Hand Ministry, and for your faithfulness.  May God richly bless you, for your work in the Lord.
