Hebrews 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles
of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again
the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God.
Or the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of
resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

Much of the world today when they look upon Christ, see Him through the eyes of the Redeemer. They know His sorrows, and His sufferings, they know His death, and His sacrifice. All these certainly describe who our Redeemer is. He endured all these things in order to obtain our Redemption. | |||||||||||||||
|
But if you want to know the Redemption that Jesus obtained for us, we need
to look on this side of the cross. Much of the world is still
weeping at the foot of the cross. Their under-standing is fixed on the
Christ who died, not on the Christ who lives. On the back side of
the cross we see a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief's. We see Him
who bore our sicknesses, and carried our sorrows. We see Christ who
was despised and rejected of men. He was poor and had nowhere to lay
His head. But have you ever given much thought to why He did all these things? He bore His poverty, (2 Corinthians 8:9), that we through his poverty might be made rich. He carried our sorrows, that we through His sorrows might be made glad. He was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities, that by His stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5) We begin to get a glimpse of the redemption
that Christ purchased, as we look on this side of the cross. And our
redemption becomes a reality as we see the Christ who lives and is not
dead. On this side of the cross is the victory of His resurrection, when
we see Jesus who was crucified and conquers death, sin, sickness, poverty
and steps out of the grave as the Redeemed. The very first example of
eternal salvation. No longer a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief and sickness. But instead we see a living, and triumphant Son of God. No longer the Christ who was dead, but the Christ who is alive! Remember the two men in shining garments who met the woman at the tomb of Jesus and said unto them, Why do you seek the living among the dead? Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ; nevertheless I live: yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Let us go onward from the vision we have of the Christ who was before the cross, to the Christ who now is. Today, if that same Spirit that raised Jesus Christ up from the dead, dwell in you and I, then we receive the same spirit of Victory and of Power, the same spirit of Grace and Love. And by the indwelling Power of the Holy Ghost we have been given power to be His witness's in the earth. That same power, or virtue that flowed out from Christ now flows from us. Praise His Holy name! It has always been the Fathers desire that we would be called "sons of God". That each one of us would grow up in Him to the full level and stature of maturity that we see in Christ.

A message that speaks volumes about the ministry of Jesus Christ, and how He was moved by faith. This word will equip each of us in the way we minister to others. To be led by the Holy Spirit by spending time with Him in prayer and in His Word.
