                      Thank You for Giving to the Lord

For I was hungred, and ye gave me meat:  I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink:  I was a stranger, and ye took me in:  Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me:  I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Dear Friends;

The Bible tells us to be sober and vigilant because of our adversary the devil as a roaring lion, walks about seeking whom he may devour.  We know him by the thief who comes to kill, steal, and to destroy.  How often has he come to you just to mess up the things that you are trying to do for the Lord?

I would encourage you in the faith today, and in your service to the Lord.  Don't listen to the lies of the devil, or give in to the feelings of despair and discouragement.  He wants us to give up.  Those things that happened to you are not of God.  For the Word of God encourages us to be stedfast and unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.

Seeing that we have this ministry, we will not faint!  Those times when you opened your home and invited the stranger in.  When you visited them who were sick in hospitals and nursing homes.  When you went into the prisons to witness the name of Christ.  You gave of your time and your monies for those who were in need.  You gave food to the hungry and clothes to those who were without.  You counseled them who were in need of instruction, and you comforted them who were sick and dying. You gave out of the abundance of your heart!

You have been the examples of Christ to them, by your love.  Many more things I could say, but I want you to know that your labor has not been in vain!

Matthew 10:41 And whosever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.

In all these things that you do in my name, you have done them unto me says the Lord.

Scripture Reference: St. Matthew 25: 34-46

This months Hand In Hand Publication is written by our dear friends and contributing members, Pastors Roger and Dianne Wilson from Mississippi.  They are ministers with a passion to reaching the lost and hurting of the world.  I would like to invite you to read their very informative message this month entitled, "The Ouija Board and Cultic Things, Abominable to the Lord".  Just click on the Hand in Hand Publication link to view this months message.
